# Executive Summary

Dlicom is a Web3-native social and communication platform built on the Base blockchain. It brings together the daily habits of social media — content, conversation, community — with the economic primitives of decentralized finance. The result is a platform where participation is not just social but financial: users who engage, create, and stake have a direct claim on the value the platform generates.

The premise behind Dlicom is straightforward. Social media platforms have created enormous value over the past two decades, but the people who made that value possible — the users who posted, commented, built communities, and kept each other engaged — received almost none of it. Dlicom is built to change that dynamic at the infrastructure level, not through a rewards program layered on top of a centralized system, but through on-chain token ownership, staking mechanics that distribute real revenue, and self-custodial wallets that give users genuine control over their assets.

### The Platform

Dlicom is a mobile-first application. It supports the full range of social interaction: content feeds, short-form video (DliClips), community channels, direct messaging, and in-app tipping. Underneath these familiar surfaces sits a self-custodial Web3 wallet with multi-chain EVM support, an in-app Web3 browser, and a DeFi earning layer powered by the $DLI token. Users never need to leave the app to interact with the broader blockchain ecosystem. The wallet is native to the experience, not a separate tool.

The platform is deployed on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network incubated by Coinbase. Base was chosen for its low transaction costs, high throughput, and full EVM compatibility — properties that make micro-transactions like tipping, staking rewards, and governance votes economically practical at scale.

**DliClips**

DliClips is Dlicom's short-format vertical video feed, introduced in V2.1.0. It brings the core viral content mechanic — the short vertical clip — into a Web3-native environment where creators publish directly to their audience. The V2.1.0 release included a full DliClips redesign: improved fullscreen layout, fixed navigation and playback, enhanced upload flow, and background music support for reels. The home screen was restructured in the same release to make DliClips and feed content easier to discover, with a centralized creation button for posts and DliClips from a single point.

**Social Feed**

The main feed surfaces posts, video, and content from followed accounts and communities. Stories sit at the top of the feed for immediate visibility. Users can react to posts with a range of emotions — like, love, laugh, sad, and others — rather than a single interaction. Creators can see exactly who viewed their post and who reacted to it, giving them real audience data per piece of content, not just aggregate numbers. Profile access from the feed is direct — a single tap from the main screen.

**Encrypted Messaging**

Direct messaging on Dlicom is end-to-end encrypted by default. Conversations are private between participants. This is not a premium feature or an opt-in setting. It is the baseline for every user from day one.

**Communities**

Communities are the primary social infrastructure unit on Dlicom. V2.1.0 introduced a redesigned community screen and two significant moderation upgrades: admins can now restrict posting so only admins can send messages — useful for announcement channels and DAO governance threads — and admins can delete any photo, video, or post that violates community standards. These tools make Dlicom communities governable at real scale, not just casual group chats.

**In-App Web3 Browser**

The built-in Web3 browser — improved in V2.1.0 — allows users to connect to any dApp directly from within Dlicom. Wallet signing, transaction approvals, and dApp interaction happen inside the app without switching to an external wallet or browser extension. This removes one of the main friction points in Web3 onboarding: the gap between having a wallet and actually using it.

**Non-Custodial Wallet**

Every Dlicom account includes a self-custodial multi-chain wallet from the moment of signup. The user holds their own private keys. Dlicom has no access to wallet contents, cannot freeze assets, and cannot reverse transactions. The wallet supports EVM-compatible chains and is structurally embedded in the product — not a feature layered on top.

**EVM Tipping**

Live as of V2.1.0. Any user can tip any creator directly within the feed, using any EVM-compatible coin. Value moves from the tipper's wallet to the creator's wallet on-chain, immediately, without platform intermediation at the transaction layer. Creators in markets where traditional payment rails are slow, expensive, or unavailable can receive value from a global audience in seconds.

**Help Center**

A 24/7 in-app Help Center is available in the settings screen, giving users direct access to Dlicom support agents for any issues or questions. It is available in all supported languages, including Arabic — added in V2.1.0 specifically for the Arab community, reflecting Dlicom's deliberate investment in MENA accessibility.

**Dlicom Web App**

A browser-based Dlicom web application is in active development and will bring messaging, wallet access, and core social features to desktop. The web platform currently supports SFR staking for presale buyers. Full feature parity with the mobile app is part of the 2026 roadmap.

### The Token

$DLI is the native utility token of the Dlicom ecosystem. It is an ERC-20 token on Base with a fixed total supply of 355,000,000 tokens. No additional tokens can ever be minted. The token is used across staking, governance, creator rewards, community incentives, and premium access features. The smart contract has been independently audited by Hacken.

### Staking for Revenue

The Staking for Revenue (SFR) mechanism is the clearest expression of Dlicom's core thesis. Users who stake $DLI earn USDT — actual stablecoin — distributed on-chain every hour. The reward amount is determined by the formula: USDT in the staking contract divided by 1500, distributed proportionally to all active stakers. This creates a direct connection between platform growth and staker earnings. As Dlicom generates more revenue through user activity, more USDT flows into the contract, and more flows out to stakers.

### Global Accessibility

Dlicom is built for a global audience. The platform includes full Arabic language support with right-to-left UI, is designed with Shariah-compliant mechanics, and offers a 24/7 in-app Help Center. The addressable market extends well beyond the English-speaking crypto community to regions where smartphone penetration is high but access to traditional financial infrastructure remains limited.
